Overview

As a Financial Analyst for the European Distribution Centre (EDC) in Oud Gastel, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. You will collaborate closely with accounting assistants and business leaders to deliver insightful analysis, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes. This would also suit a Senior Accounts Assistant. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure accurate execution of EDC’s financial processes in collaboration with two accounting assistants; this includes the monthly close and forecasting cycles, including journal entries, inventory and capital accounting, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan for the EDC, including year-over-year analysis.
  • Prepare annual and fiscal reports, support audits, and handle quarterly tax packages, declarations, payments, and true-ups.
