Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure accurate execution of EDC’s financial processes in collaboration with two accounting assistants; this includes the monthly close and forecasting cycles, including journal entries, inventory and capital accounting, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan for the EDC, including year-over-year analysis.
  • Prepare annual and fiscal reports, support audits, and handle quarterly tax packages, declarations, payments, and true-ups. 
  • Analyse monthly management reports and provide actionable business insights.
  • Recalculate duties annually, support salary administration and serve as financial advisor to the Senior Manager, Distribution & Logistics EU.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Document and improve financial processes and work instructions.
