Financial Controller | AML & Reporting

Overview

A European financial group with a Dubai entity operating in payments and trade finance. The team blends traditional banking disciplines with modern fintech rails and crypto-enabled services.

You will own the financial close, statutory reporting, and cash controls while leading AML/CTF practices end to end. Your work keeps the business compliant, audit-ready, and execution-focused as new payment products scale.

What you will do

• Run the monthly close and deliver accurate management accounts under IFRS
• Own cash management, bank reconciliations, working capital, and treasury routines
• Lead statutory reporting across VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, UBO and regulatory filings in the UAE
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare schedules, and close audit findings
• Build and maintain internal controls, finance SOPs, and risk registers
