Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with experience of charity, to lead the finance function and support the strategic development of the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage a team of seven (including two direct reports) and oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. This role will require a January start and will be offered on an initial 6‑month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and support the Finance Team.
  • Deliver annual budgets and provide clear financial reporting to the Board and senior managers.
  • Present monthly management information at Board meetings and contribute to key committees.
  • Drive financial planning, monitoring and reporting for major projects.
  • Produce the Annual Report and Financial Statements and ensure timely VAT, payroll and statutory returns.
