Financial Controller

Overview

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and implementing financial controls and reporting mechanisms. This role involves managing accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and cash flow. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports. Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016, and relevant Bursa/SSM requirements (if applicable). Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Lead year‑end audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.
