Resourcery Groupare working with a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation based in central Liverpool as the look to hire a new Financial Controller. This business is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Our Client is seeking aQualified Financial Controller to join the business in a pivotal leadership role, offering a mix of strategic involvement and hands on operational responsibility. About the Role:This is a high impact position within the finance function, ideal for a commercially astute finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for driving process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing day to day financial operations, developing a high performing finance team, ensuring robust cash flow forecasting and supporting the strategic financial planning process.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and all aspects of the month end process
- Lead, manage and develop the finance team, ensuring clarity of roles, expectations and performance standards
- Review and oversee transactional finance processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain adherence to financial processes in line with relevant regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with non finance stakeholders, supporting budgeting and financial planning across departments
- Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Take ownership of cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business wide decision making
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a strong track record of team leadership
- Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated strength in cash flow forecasting
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
- A strong communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Emotionally intelligent leader with a collaborative and motivational management style
- Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive and solution focused mindset, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and regulatory compliance
- Competitive salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum plus bonus and package
