Linum Consult’s client is a leading international finance company, currently seeking a Financial Controller with subject matter expertise in French GAAP and IFRS to join their team in Monaco.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and other accounting records in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, rules, and regulationsSupporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, and reporting on these to senior colleaguesDeveloping and maintaining a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets, ensuring that there is no fraudulent misreporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data, including regular assessments of the effectiveness of internal controls addressing any weaknesses or gapsDeveloping and implementing up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices
