Financial Controller

Job Summary:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for leading the financial planning, reporting, and control functions of the organization. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, maintains robust internal controls, supports strategic decision-making, and leads budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) / IFRS.
• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.) and corporate regulations.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycle.
• Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support strategic planning with financial insights and scenario modelling.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor cash flow, oversee treasury operations, and manage banking relationships.
• Optimize working capital and manage funding requirements.

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Develop, implement, and monitor strong internal control systems and processes.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

5. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
• Ensure continuous process improvements and upskilling of the team.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Support management with financial analysis for business decisions.
• Act as a liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors, investors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications: MBA in Finance
• Experience: 02 years in financial management
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
