Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the financial well-being of the Entity by providing budget management, monitoring appropriate investments of temporary cash balances, exercising executive control over Entity budgets, and safeguarding all financial assets of the Entity.
  • Recommends to the Management on issues relating to the financial status of the Entity, preparing financial information, and preparing reports, recommendations, findings, and other correspondence as required by the management,
  • Helps to ensure achievement of the goals and objectives of the Entity by overseeing the preparation of an annual appropriations and overseeing the preparation of an internal budget using budget models to project future revenue and following well established policies for expenditures.
  • Ability to organize and manage complex finance and accounting activities.
  • Hands on experience in using financial management software which are commonly used in higher education.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills are required.



Qualifications


  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Financial Planning, Financial Analysis with reputed Organization
  • Proficiency with current financial software
  • Understanding of US GAAP.
