Job Description
Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Budget Office in the Lifting and Handling Department of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will research, modify, and post obligations into an official accounting system like Standard Accounting, Budgeting, Reporting System (SABRS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP). You will maintain records such as civilian payrolls, employee service and leave, Federal, state taxes, allotments, union dues, direct deposit You will prepare Civilian Personnel Resources System reports and submit required reporting forms and report. You will analyze and improve workflow and solution process improvements across the division. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
