Financial Reporting Lead

The Financial Reporting Lead is a key member of the USA Accounting and Reporting Team, responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for a leading global humanitarian organization. This role’s primary responsibilities include preparing consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IRS Form 990 and supporting schedules, as well as meeting state registration and statutory reporting requirements. Additionally, the position supports the preparation of the Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement (NICRA).

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, proactive, and possesses a strong background in finance and accounting. This position reports to the Financial Reporting Manager and involves interaction with the Global Controller, CFOO, and other senior financial executives. The role also requires close collaboration with the accounting team based at CARE’s Shared Services Center in Manila.
