Overview

The Finisher Helper will assist skilled craftsperson(s) by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.

Responsibilities

Will assist Finisher/Finisher Foreman with the following:

  • Pour, level, form, and trowel concrete
  • Place, finish, protect, and repair concrete for projects
  • Place and spread concrete using various tools and level/float the surface
  • Understand the purpose and proper technique for vibrating concrete
  • Assist other craft workers as needed
