Finishing Operator| 5th Shift

Description

Position Objectives: Assemble sample boards, label Hard Surface samples and pack samples for shipping ensuring samples are free from defects. Position will require working at different stages of assembly according to production needs.

Swatch Assembler:

Set up totes in correct order checking with the go-by board to ensure order and colors are correct. Place the swatches in position as the empty binder/board is conveyed through the workstation. Inspect work. Look for correct swatch alignment and color in board and check for excessive glue, under/oversized swatch cutting, obvious material defects, etc. Inspect boards during processing and upon completion for defects. Rework swatches/boards as needed. Retrieve tops and topping supplies for sample boards as needed. Adjust back glue head as needed. Install tops using glue or posts as called for by work order.
