Job Description
This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
The Contractor shall provide a Fire Chief who shall be responsible for the crash and fire protection function.
The Contractor shall provide fire and emergency service personnel organized in accordance with NFPA 1201, and staffed and equipped to meet the fire and emergency standards as outlined in OPNAVINST series 11320.23.
All personnel assigned to this annex shall comply with accepted industry safety standards, applicable safety precautions and guidelines listed in NFPA 1500 and local safety instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ The Fire Chief shall have a minimum of three years experience in managing an operation of size and scope similar to that on Diego Garcia and previous experience was within three years of hiring.
