Position Title : Fire Detection Pilots (C337) – 2026 Fire Season

Location : Various throughout Ontario & Saskatchewan

Role of a Fire Detection Pilot

Detection Pilots support our Fire and Survey contracts and act as Pilot‑In‑Command of the Cessna 337 Skymaster. As a Detection Pilot, you will conduct VFR patrols in search of lightning and human‑caused wildfires across Northern Ontario and Saskatchewan. Aerial fire detection plays a critical role in the government’s wildfire management strategy, helping ensure wildfires are detected early when they are still small enough to be controlled.

Your Qualifications

• Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License and Multi‑Engine Rating
• Category 1 Medical
• Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating (Ideal but not mandatory)
