Job Description

Role

As a Fire Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for testing, inspecting & maintaining a broad range of Essential Safety Systems to ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, relevant Australian standards, the National Construction Code (NCC) and local statutory requirements.

Compensation

$40 - $50 hourly based off experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and inspect wet, dry and passive fire systems.
  • Provide solutions for reported faults and defects.
  • Adhere to client sign‑in procedures.
  • Commit to safe work practices.
  • Upskill and learn new systems.
  • Represent the company well.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in the testing & inspection of wet, dry and passive fire systems.
  • Experience in testing the following as per AS1851: Portable Fire Extinguishers, Fire blankets, Hydrants, Hose reels, Fire panels, Sprinkler system...
