Overview

This Engineering company is looking to recruit a new Firmware Engineer to focus on writing Linux drivers.

The role of Firmware Engineer reports to the Head of Electronics but you'll be integrating with mechanical, software and test engineers.

Your role is to work on new projects taking them from requirements and specification through to design and in to manufacture.

Responsibilities

  • Write Linux drivers and firmware integration across mechanical, software and test engineering.
  • Take new projects from requirements and specification through to design and manufacture.

Requirements

  • Senior Firmware Engineer (permanent).
  • Qualified to degree level in Electronics or Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Linux essential .
  • C++ .
  • Microcontrollers .
  • Strong C++ and Linux skills are essential for this role.
