Firmware Engineer | Otay

Responsibilities

• Working in the Product Development Team designing and testing the electronics and the microcontroller firmware.
• Interact with the Project leader and the other team members to define the functional specifications of the products.
• Responsible for the creation of the electrical diagram of analog and digital circuits, selecting all relevant components.
• Use professional instrumentations (oscilloscopes, calibrators, power analyzers, etc).
• Time and budget management selecting state-of-the-art components, which is a challenge itself. Deadlines are always lurking around the corner.
• Check and support the validation of the prototypes (Functionals, EMC, Environmental, other requirements according to the applied standards).
• Designing and engineering new products and machines, from ideation and concept generation to prototyping, technical elaboration and production start-up.
