Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PHP Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing development team and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP and Vue.js , along with proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PHP and front-end developers.

• Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle — from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Define coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best engineering practices.

• Drive performance optimization, security, and scalability improvements across systems.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and introduce best practices to the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall software development experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Strong hands-on expertise in PHP (Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter) and Vue.js .

• Experience in designing scalable architectures and working with RESTful APIs.

• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud environments.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Microservices architecture or modern PHP frameworks .

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies .

• Knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , or AWS .
