Fit & Assembly Technician

Overview

Due to continued growth our client is looking for several Fit and Assembly Technicians who are hands‑on, mechanically capable, and comfortable working to high standards in a structured manufacturing environment. This is not a production‑line role. If you care about quality, can follow instructions accurately, and want stability in a business that values skill over speed, keep reading.

What you’ll actually be doing

• Assembling and fitting components using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Working with hand tools and equipment in a controlled, quality‑led environment
• Carrying out in‑process checks to ensure parts meet specification
• Working alongside experienced fitters, engineers, and quality teams
• Flagging issues early quality matters
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Supporting continuous improvement
