Job Description

MPK is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our project in the Surat Basin on a 14:7 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks across our fleet of equipment, consisting of earthmoving machinery, trucks, trailers, specialised equipment, light vehicles, as well as undertake the occasional smaller, ad hoc jobs. They will be able to assist with loading and unloading of Plant and freight.

Responsibilities

  • Service and repairs of all equipment
  • Rebuilds and overhauls
  • Creation of new equipment, building and assembly
  • Conducting daily prestart meetings and filling out JHAs as required
  • Guiding and sharing information with the team of fitters as required
  • Travel to worksites if and when needed
