Fixed Asset Accountant
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with fixed asset policies and procedures.
- Review and suggest updates to fixed asset policies when needed.
- Monitor fixed asset inventory including additions, disposals, transfers, and other related activities.
- Oversee annual physical inventory counts for all facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related course
- Background in Accounting or as a Fixed Assets (FA) Accountant
- Knowledge of Journal Entries and Accounting Standards
- Experience in General Ledger reconciliation and GL account analysis
- Strong analytical skills and good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to use a Fixed Asset Management System
