Fixed Plant Fitter

The current role on offer is for a Fixed Plant Fitter at Woodie Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara on 14 days on, 14 days off roster FIFO from Perth.

Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required:

• To be an integral part of the Maintenance Team.
• Work in conjunction with the Production Department
• Maintain fixed plant and equipment including crushers, scrubber, heavy media drums etc
• Maintain Warman pumps.
• Assist Boilermakers with as and when required
• Ensure and promote safe working practices.
• General housekeeping.
• Liaise with other Maintenance personnel to complete set goals.

Requirements to be successful in this role are:

• To be a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter.
• Have 5 years experience in fixed plant maintenance.
• Safe work ethics and attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Outgoing with a common sense approach to problem solving
• Willingness to improve and add knowledge.
• Team player.
• Current C class manual drivers licence.

Desirable but not essential:

• HR license
• Confined Space ticket
• Working at heights ticket
• Telescopic handler ticket
• CN crane ticket or C6
• Poly welding experience
• Rigging & slinging tickets
