THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join our Pinjarra Workshop on a permanent, full-time basis, working 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills while working alongside a highly experienced team, and includes occasional site travel as required.

Duties include but not limited to;

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and policies.
  • Investigate incidents and maintain equipment integrity.
  • Follow lockout procedures before maintenance.
  • Control costs through efficient expenditure and waste management.
  • Maintain underground equipment per OEM and company standards.
  • Follow preventative and scheduled maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure timely procurement of required spares.
  • Provide mechanical training for maintenance personnel.
  • Overhaul, maintain, and repair fixed and mobile plant equipment.
  • Maintain workshop, storage areas, and cleanliness of equipment.
  • Site travel as required providing maintenance support for Quattro products.
  • Other duties as requested by the Workshop Manager

THE PERSON

  • Trade qualified ? Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
  • MR and HR license is highly desirable
  • Previous experience as an Underground Mechanical Fitter is desirable
  • Have a good understanding of general OHS
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Take charge of planned and preventative maintenance with a very proactive attitude
