**Job Title: Flatbed Driver** **Job Description**
This position is responsible for the shipping, receiving, proper handling of materials, equipment, and compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards/procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move shipments from dock platforms to storage or work areas.
+ Use computers to prepare packing lists, BOLs, and other required documentation for domestic and international shipping.
+ Inspect and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged or non-conforming items, record shortages, and coordinate with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
+ Place materials in correct inventory locations.
+ Load and unload trucks.
+ Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipment.
+ Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips to ensure all items are received and undamaged, and enter them into QuickBooks.
