Job Description
Team & Performance Management * Supervise, train, and motivate a team of food delivery executives (riders/drivers). * Schedule and allocate delivery shifts and zones based on order volumes and operational needs. * Monitor daily attendance, punctuality, and delivery performance. * Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback or coaching. * Handle escalations, grievances, and disciplinary actions in line with HR policies.Operational Oversight * Ensure smooth execution of daily delivery operations with minimal delays or service disruptions. * Track and analyze delivery metrics such as on-time rate, delivery accuracy, and order completion. * Optimize delivery routes and zones to improve efficiency and reduce delivery times. * Coordinate with the dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve delivery issues quickly.Fleet Maintenance & Compliance * Ensure all company-owned or partner vehicles (bikes, scooters, EVs, etc.) are in good condition. * Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. * Ensure compliance with road safety, traffic regulations, and company hygiene standards. * Maintain proper documentation for vehicles, fuel usage, and insurance.
Recruitment & Training * Support the hiring, onboarding, and training of new delivery executives. * Conduct orientation sessions on customer service, delivery process, and food handling protocols. * Implement refresher training programs to reinforce safety and performance standards.Reporting & Cost Control * Monitor key delivery KPIs such as on-time performance, delivery cost per order, and productivity per rider. * Track and report fuel usage, overtime, and fleet-related expenses. * Identify operational inefficiencies and implement cost-saving initiatives. * Submit regular performance and operational reports to senior management.
