RaD was founded in 1987 by Denis Hansen, under the name Rent a Dent, it’s franchising began in 1992. By 2017 it was rebranded RaD Car Hire and purchased by The Index Group in 2019 and it is now part of a network of locally owned rental car franchises across New Zealand and Queensland, Australia.

We offer rental cars of all sizes, from small hatchbacks and compact sedans to station wagons, SUV’s and people movers. The rental cars are offered in a budget range as well as late model and new vehicle ranges.

Our Queensland locations cover Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane airports. These branches also service Noosa, Maroochydore airport, Mooloolaba, Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta Airport and Logan.
