Job Summary:
A leading transportation company is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to lead and oversee driver operations and fleet activities.



Key Responsibilities:

•Lead and support the driver operations team, ensuring seamless execution of recruitment, onboarding, daily support, and issue resolution with a strong focus on service excellence.

•Enforce and continuously improve operational standards, including vehicle hygiene, driver appearance, customer service behavior, and adherence to safety and company protocols.

•Oversee and enhance driver training and onboarding programs, incorporating digital training tools, app usage education, and ongoing skill development.

•Ensure fleet readiness and availability, coordinating maintenance, inspection, and rotation schedules to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.

•Monitor driver performance using KPIs and data dashboards, apply performance incentives or deductions fairly, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational data, ensuring alignment with financial and accounting systems for transparency and audit readiness.

•Handle driver compliance and disciplinary cases, including deactivations and coordination with legal or regulatory authorities when necessary.

•Supervise and strengthen invoicing, internal controls, and reconciliation processes across departments to support seamless cash flow and operations.

•Deliver timely and insightful operational reports to management, including analysis of key trends, risks, and recommendations for improvement.

•Oversee facility, fleet, and office maintenance and logistics to ensure smooth and safe daily operations.

•Drive innovation by identifying and implementing process improvements, automation opportunities, and technology integrations to enhance operational efficiency.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (customer service, tech, HR, finance) to ensure operational alignment and customer satisfaction.



Qualifications & Skills:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.

•Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in transportation, fleet, or logistics operations.

•Proven track record in team leadership, performance management, and operational excellence.

•Familiarity with fleet management systems, driver apps, CRM, and basic troubleshooting of operational tech tools.

•Strong numerical and analytical skills; comfortable interpreting data and generating performance reports.

•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau is a plus).

•Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
