We have opportunities available as we strategically expand our RFDS operations in the Territory. Reporting directly to the Flight Nurse Manager, you will work in a diverse, fulfilling and rewarding environment. Responsibilities

• Be at the forefront of aeromedical health services, providing primary response, intensive care, midwifery and trauma services, including emergency retrievals, as part of our high-performance aeromedical team in regional, rural and remote SA & NT
• Work in a dynamic environment using your skills and experience to deliver outstanding patient care, where two days are never the same.

About You

• A healthcare professional who takes pride in delivering high quality nursing and midwifery care
• Professional in your approach to service delivery
• Willing to work collaboratively with other health professionals, pilots, and operational employees to provide high quality health care in a remote environment
• Have a great sense of adventure

Requirements

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Five (5) years minimum post registration experience which must include a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a critical care environment, after completion of a recognised tertiary post graduate certificate (or higher) in either Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care. The experience must be in either a:
• • Recognised Major Regional or Tertiary Hospital Emergency Department with 24 hour in-Department medical coverage
  • Recognised Intensive Care Unit
  • Cumulative of three years critical care experience across both environments
