Floating Foundations Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Floating Foundations Engineer will provide support for the development of technical solutions for floating offshore foundations for wind turbines, from design to commissioning and operation, in respect to time, costs, safety, quality and interfaces. Working directly with the head of floating foundations, the engineer will support the definition of technical solutions by management of contracts with external suppliers, performing sizing estimates, preparation of tenders and technology monitoring, among others.

This position will focus on the structural arrangements of different floating concepts taking into account weight and load minimization with industrialization in mind. A good understanding of floater modelling techniques from integrated load analysis (ILA) to structure assessment is expected.
