Project Scope:
Fork, rebrand, and customise the WebTrit Phone open-source softphone app (Flutter/Dart) for iOS and Android. This is a VoIP calling app targeting international calls to South Africa, with tiered pricing (free and subscriber tiers), SIP trunk integration, and a custom BSS connector.
Phase 1 — Fork & Rebrand:
Fork the WebTrit Phone repo into a private repository. Rebrand the app completely — name, logo, icons, colours, splash screens, bundle IDs for both iOS and Android. Configure embedded webview pages for in-app promotions and top-up. Integrate Telnyx SIP trunk for outbound calling. Set up APNs and FCM push notifications for incoming calls. Build and test on physical iOS and Android devices.
Phase 2 — BSS Connector:
Build a minimal FastAPI-based BSS connector that authenticates users against WooCommerce REST API. Implement free vs subscriber tier logic with different per-minute rates. Display credit balance in-app. Handle post-call CDR-based credit deducti...
