Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring high service standards, managing the service team, and delivering excellent guest satisfaction while supporting the Restaurant Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily food & beverage service operations
Ensure service standards, SOPs, and brand guidelines are followed
Lead, guide, and motivate the service team during shifts
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service flow
Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, and discipline standards
Assist in staff training, briefing, and performance monitoring
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and mise-en-place
Support inventory control, wastage reduction, and cost control
Assist in opening, closing, and shift handover procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
2–4 years of experience in food & beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and team-handling skills
Good communication skills (English & Hindi; local language preferred)
Guest-focused with problem-solving ability
Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays
Educational Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred
Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education
