As a Food Service Worker you have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient and resident focused health care as a dedicated member of the Nutrition Food Service (NFS) team. NFS is a provincial service that is committed to providing nutritious, healthy, high quality meal service to patients, residents, staff, visitors and the community. This position will be accountable for performing a variety of tasks to ensure a quality patient, resident and customer experience. Under the general supervision of a Food Services Supervisor, they will use strong customer service, teamwork and organizational skills to: Prepare, handle, portion and package food and beverages. Assemble trays in the kitchen. Provide patient meal delivery and pick up. Safely operate and clean industrial food service equipment.
