Job Description
Our Assistant Kitchen Managers assist in providing healthy, sanitary, nutritious, and appealing food for the students and staff. This position will work 7 hours per day and is eligible for benefits.
A Day in the Life
- Prepare healthy, sanitary, appealing food that meets the nutritional needs of students and staff.
- Utilizes sound sanitation standards to meet all district, state, and federal mandates.
- Assists in serving food so that staff and students receive the food in a timely and friendly manner.
- Assists in tasks necessary for efficient functioning of the food service program (e.g. washing dishes, scanning tickets, keeping the kitchen cleaned and organized, etc).
- Assists in keeping track of daily inventory, re-stocking supplies, and notifying manager so that the food service program has the necessary resources to function efficiently.
