Role Description


As a Food Technologist, you will play a vital role in the development, optimization, and quality assurance of beverages — ensuring consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and innovation in formulation. You’ll work closely with the production, quality, and R&D teams to support current and new beverage offerings.


Key Responsibilities

       •      Lead formulation and product development for beverages (artesian water products, flavored waters, hard seltzers, craft beer).

       •      Evaluate raw ingredients and finished products for quality, consistency, taste, and shelf stability.

       •      Implement and monitor food safety and quality control protocols in compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP standards.

       •      Conduct sensory analysis and stability testing to refine taste and texture profiles.

       •      Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and testing.

       •      Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues.

       •      Maintain accurate technical and regulatory documentation for audits and compliance.

       •      Support packaging validation and labeling compliance.


Qualifications


Minimum Education:

       •      Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.

       •      Advanced qualifications (M.Sc./M.Tech) or specialized certificates (e.g., Beverage Technology, Quality Assurance) are preferred. 


Experience:

       •      2–5 years of relevant experience in beverages or food product development.*

Skills & Competencies

       •      Strong understanding of beverage formulation, processing equipment, and quality systems.

       •      Expertise in sensory evaluation, analytical testing, and shelf-life studies.

       •      Knowledge of beverage ingredients, additive functionality, and microbial safety.

       •      Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

       •      Ability to work on the production floor and in lab settings.
