Food Writer

Job Summary:

• We need a food writer to create engaging and informative content about meat and cooking. 
• You will be responsible for writing articles, recipes, reviews, and stories that showcase our brand, products, and services, as well as the benefits of a carnivore diet and lifestyle. 
• You will also research and interview sources, edit and proofread your work, and collaborate with other writers, editors, and photographers.

• Research and interview sources, such as chefs, farmers, nutritionists, and customers, to provide accurate and reliable information and insights
• Edit and proofread your work and ensure it meets our quality and style standards
• Collaborate with other writers, editors, and photographers to ensure the consistency and coherence of our content
• Optimize your content for SEO using keyword research and web content best practices
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and feedback of your content using analytics and tools
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the meat and cooking industry and share your ideas and suggestions with the team

List of Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Some experience in food writing, preferably in an online media or publishing setting
• Passion and knowledge for meat and cooking and the ability to write engaging and informative content about them
• Excellent writing and editing skills and ability to create original and creative content for various audiences and platforms
• Proficiency in using word processing and editing software, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Grammarly
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and web content best practices, and ability to optimize your content for them
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and deadlines
