About the Role
We are seeking a Senior GCP Administrator with strong hands-on experience in managing and automating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable cloud environments. This position is ideal for professionals who excel in dynamic, product-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and optimize GCP services including:
IAM, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Monitoring
Design and manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
Set up, manage, and troubleshoot data pipelines using GCP-native tools
Implement and monitor IAM policies and security best practices
Optimize BigQuery for performance and cost-efficiency
Collaborate with developers and architects to align cloud infrastructure with business goals
Monitor system health and implement scaling and security mechanisms
Work with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS, if required
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of total IT experience
4+ years of hands-on experience in GCP
GCP Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) – Mandatory
Expertise in:
IAM, BigQuery, GKE
Terraform automation for infrastructure
Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Monitoring/Logging
Building and supporting data pipelines in GCP
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (especially AWS)
Strong understanding of:
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
Cloud security
Cost governance and optimization
