Forensics Engineer

A multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Forensics Engineer for their growing office in Huntington, New York! Responsibilities: Conduct residential and commercial forensic investigations to analyze/determine structural damage for insurance companies, attorneys, private homeowners and property owners Investigate and assess damage due to catastrophes Prove evaluations are correct by researching technical publications and literature Apply engineering principles and practices in accordance with codes and industry standards Provide client with detailed forensic engineering reports outlining cause and origin of damage Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines Provide clients and team with timelines and project updates Experience: Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Engineering or closely related discipline required Masters Degree preferred 6+ years of experience in architectural or engineering 1+ year of forensic engineeri...
