Forest School Practitioner (South Shields SEN School)  

Do you love outdoor learning and helping children flourish beyond the classroom? Join our specialist SEN school team where curiosity, joy, independence and resilience are encouraged through creative and experiential learning.

You’ll be responsible for:
Planning and delivering outdoor learning sessions
Supporting pupils in risk-aware, confidence-building activities
Encouraging teamwork, problem-solving and independence
Working with teachers to connect outdoor learning to curriculum goals

Ideal skills:

  • Experience with Forest School or outdoor education

  • Passion for SEND inclusion and personalised learner development

  • Calm, supportive and adaptive approach
