**Job Description**
The main function of a forklift operator is to operate industrial trucks or machinery in a warehouse for a chemical production facility. This role involves the operation of heavy machinery to safely move product loads around the facility, including unloading trucks, staging chemical raw materials, and tracking inventory with a safety and quality mindset.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive and inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them around the warehouse and plant.
+ Drive vehicles to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
+ Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets and racking, including push-back racks, for transport to designated areas.
