Forklift Operator

BBSI’s client is a well-established nursery that is looking for a forklift operator at their Elkton farm location. This is a seasonal position from mid-December to March but could potentially be extended for the right person looking for a permanent position. Responsibilities can vary between forklift operating and physical tasks.


Responsibilities:

Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks and cooler/freezer storage.

Assemble tier racks and fix pallets as needed.

Other duties as assigned. May include physical duties in the nursery.

Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience:

Valid drivers license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Experience driving forklifts.

Experience driving other equipment such as tractors preferred.

Good attendance and willingness to work long hours and some weekends.

Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
