Job Description
A Forward Delivery Driver (often referred to as a Delivery Driver, Light Vehicle Driver, or Forwarder) is responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods from a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturer to clients,, businesses, or retail locations. They ensure that products are loaded properly, delivered to the correct location, and that all corresponding paperwork is accurately managed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Transport Goods: Drive company vehicles (4-wheel to 6-wheelers) to deliver products, raw materials, or finished goods to designated destinations.
Loading/Unloading: Conduct or assist in the loading and unloading of products, ensuring goods are secure during transit to prevent damage.
Route Planning: Adhere to assigned, pre-determined routes and schedules, and use navigation tools (GPS) to ensure timely service.
