Founder's Office

Role Overview: Ensure founder and leadership decisions translate into clear actions, ownership, and timely closure, while maintaining accurate, decision-ready visibility across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Execution & Follow-through (Primary)

• Attend founder and leadership meetings
• Convert decisions into actions, owners, and timelines
• Design and maintain lightweight systems across tools to ensure visibility, version control, and continuity
• Follow up directly with functional heads until closure
• Flag delays, risks, and dependencies early
• Structure, track, and synthesize strategic experiments, pilots, and initiatives

Visibility & Information Control

• Design and run weekly/monthly MIS for founders
• Collect, validate, and synthesize inputs from teams
• Maintain a single source of truth for investor communication, compliances etc.

Market Research & Strategic Support

• Track market, competitors, and relevant developments
• Monitor grant, policy, and funding opportunities
• Prepare concise, decision-ready summaries and decks

Authority & Working Model

• Works daily with founders
• Mandated to follow up directly with functional heads
• Individual contributor; no people management
• Owns execution discipline and visibility

Requirements

• Strong execution and follow-through discipline
• Comfortable chasing senior stakeholders without formal authority
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable
• High ownership with low ego
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Experience

1–3 years in Founder’s Office, Chief of Staff (early-stage), strategy/ops, or consulting roles. Prior experience working closely with founders or senior leadership preferred

Success Measures (6–9 Months):

• Founder decisions consistently tracked and closed
• Founders spend significantly less time on follow-ups
• Leadership receives timely, accurate MIS
• Critical documents are centralised and always current
• Reduced execution slippage across teams
