Founding Engineer (Full Stack)

Hi. We're looking for a smart Founding Full-stack Engineer with strong expertise in Backend and AI to join our lean team at OutFlo AI - an early-stage startup building AI-first B2B outreach platform for GTM teams in the US.

Location: Koramangala, Bangalore (In-office, 5+ days a week)

Long-term Vision: Be the AI-native sales enablement platform, powering every step of the GTM motion: from finding the right prospect to booking high-intent meetings, across channels like LinkedIn, email, calls, and social. We're starting with LinkedIn and targeting B2B teams in the US, where demand is strongest and where the founder has personally faced the pain point.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, development, testing, and deployment of scalable solutions across both frontend and backend.
• Ship high-impact features within days - product velocity is our biggest moat in the AI world.
• Build AI-native product experiences using LLMs, Agents, RAG, and latest AI models. Building systems that use AI - not research or train models.
• Collaborate with the founder and customers to translate requirements into high-quality product delivery.
• Move fast, experiment, establish strong engineering practices, and solve complex technical problems that directly address customer requirements.
• You'll be expected to ship code yourself while collaborating with a 2-3 person engg team of freshers and play a key role in building a strong tech team going forward.

You'll be part of a small, strong team of 4 (incl. CS IIT KGP alum who has been Founding Engineer at top AI startups) where you will lead the early development of our platform and will be expected to have complete ownership of the product delivery. You will work closely with the founder and customers to shape product direction. This will NOT be a cushy role, but a founding position in its true sense.

Requirements:

• Prior full-time experience of 2+ years working in similar roles at early-stage startups (pre-seed/seed) building end-to-end products from scratch.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and a growth mindset to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Hands-on experience in developing & deploying applications using Typescript, Node JS, Postgres, Express, React, Selenium, Redis, RabbitMq, AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3), and 3rd party APIs.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture - microservices, scheduling, load balancing, proxies, monitoring, advanced DB queries, network requests and scaling. Exp. in designing scalable systems; reverse-engineering is a plus.
• Experience building AI-native products using LLMs, agentic frameworks, and a strong adopter of tools like Cursor, Lovable etc. to drive efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (2023, 2022 or earlier grads)

If you do not want ambiguity or surprises, this role is not for you. We're early-stage, and the journey is only going to be uphill. We work 6 days a week from our Koramangala office, driven by the thrill of shipping fast, learning fast, and winning customers. This won't continue indefinitely, but for the next few months, we don't expect it to change. So if you're currently looking to prioritize work-life balance, this role is not for you.
