Job Description
We are looking for a Founding Mobile Engineer to join us in building and scaling Bloom's mobile app — starting with iOS and soon expanding to Android. You'll take ownership of our mobile experience, push the boundaries of what React Native + Expo can do, and lay the foundation for Bloom's app to reach millions of users. Bloom is a YC X25 startup making app development as easy as talking into your phone.

You love solving complex technical problems.
You can clearly explain and communicate complex ideas to others.
You have extensive experience building mobile apps with React Native.
You have strong experience with Expo + EAS.
You are very familiar with Typescript.
You have worked with Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin (both is a big bonus).

You have worked with Convex.
You've worked at a YC startup before or founded a startup yourself.
You've already built something with Bloom.
