Job Description
We're looking for a Founding Security Engineer to own and scale security across ZOOP's Web2
and Web3 platforms as the company grows rapidly. This role will secure our AWS-based, serverless
infrastructure, applications, CI/CD pipelines, and third-party integrations while keeping engineering
velocity high.
You'll work closely with backend, frontend, mobile, and leadership to introduce pragmatic, risk-
based security controls across a platform that includes payments, KYC, crypto, and creator
monetization.
What you'll do
Secure AWS infrastructure (IAM, RDS, networking, secrets, Terraform)
Improve security of a Serverless (Lambda) backend and API architecture
Strengthen application security across React, React Native, and APIs
Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Amplify)
Own logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
Review third-party vendors (payments, KYC, wallets, analytics, infra tools)
