Role Description
Gujarat Metal Cast Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a full-time Foundry Metallurgist for an on-site role based in Vadodara. The Foundry Metallurgist will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing metal processing operations, overseeing process control, conducting failure analyses, and applying knowledge of metallurgy to improve production quality and efficiency. Daily tasks include analyzing material properties, troubleshooting operational issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
Qualifications
- Strong command of Metallurgy principles and Extractive Metallurgy processes
- Experience of SG Iron process
- Proficiency in Process Control and operational optimization
- Experience in materials testing, Failure Analysis, and troubleshooting issues in production
- Knowledge of Leaching and related metallurgical techniques
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, on-site environment
- Familiarity with foundry operations and safety standards is advantageous
