FPCM: Data Analyst Genomics Unit

This hiring is subject to authorization from the Community of Madrid’s Department of Economy, Finance, and Employment.

As a Genomics Data Analyst, the selected person will primarily carry out the following activities:

• Maintenance, optimization, management, and development of data analysis tools available in the Genomics Unit – FPCM, and incorporation of new tools or functionalities.
• Processing of NGS data, demultiplexing of runs, quality control of sequences, and sample processing, such as adapter trimming.
• Provision of omic data analysis services for users of the Genomics Unit – FPCM: genomics and metagenomics, transcriptomics and metatranscriptomics data, single-cell analysis , high-throughput genotyping/gene expression, statistical analyses, panel analyses, and variant filtering, etc.
