FPSO Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced FPSO Manager who can confidently lead multidisciplinary teams and drive safe, successful project execution.

Function description

We are supporting a leading energy company in the search for an experienced FPSO Manager to join their Mexico City operations. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for managing the full FPSO delivery scope from engineering to hand‑over and start‑up.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the FPSO project team
• Ensure alignment with project Basis for Design & PEP
• Oversee project execution through engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning
• Drive HSEQ excellence and foster a strong safety culture
• Manage procurement strategy, risk processes, technical reviews and reporting
• Coordinate with Subsurface, Operations, HSE, Drilling & Wells, and commercial teams
• Support partners engagement and governmental/regulatory interfaces

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

• Extensive FPSO experience – at least 10 years leading FPSO delivery
• Strong background in facilities design/construction/completion – 15+ years in oil & gas
• Fluency in English (oral & written)
• Proven capability to manage engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and asset integrity activities
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills

Spanish is a plus but not mandatory. We are open to international/expat candidates.
