Position Overview

As part of the Formulation R&D team for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) forms, the selected candidate will be involved in the development and optimization of various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, and powders for oral administration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and scale up new products from the lab to commercial scale. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulation Development :

    • Develop and optimize oral solid dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules).

    • Conduct formulation trials to optimize stability, dissolution, and bioavailability.

    • Scale-up processes from laboratory to pilot batches, ensuring successful technology transfer.

    • Evaluate raw materials and excipients to ensure compatibility and performance in the final formulation.

  • Analytical Support :

    • Work with the analytical team to develop and validate analytical methods for testing drug products.

    • Assist in stability studies and perform data analysis to ensure product quality.

  • Documentation :

    • Maintain accurate records of all formulation activities, including development protocols, reports, and regulatory documents.

    • Ensure compliance with GMP, ICH, and other applicable regulatory standards.

  • Regulatory Affairs :

    • Assist in preparing regulatory submissions and respond to queries from regulatory authorities.

    • Ensure formulation development complies with regulatory guidelines and standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Qualification :

     B. Pharm / : M. Pharm  in Pharmaceutics 

  • Experience :

    • Executive : 2-4 years of experience in formulation development for OSD (tablets, capsules, etc.).

    • Senior Executive : 4-6 years of hands-on experience in OSD formulation development, scale-up, and technology transfer.
